Ingredients
- 2 1/4 cups quick cooking oats
- 2/3 cup of flour
- 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
- 1 pinch of salt
- 3/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 egg
- Commercial Vanilla Creaming
- La Lichée Maple Caramel
Steps
- Preheat oven to 350°F.
- In a bowl, combine oats, flour, cinnamon and salt and set aside.
- In a separate bowl, beat butter, brown sugar, vanilla and egg with a mixer.
- Add the oat mixture to the butter mixture, and blend together until smooth.
- Using an ice cream scoop, scoop into balls and place on a baking sheet.
- Using a floured glass, crush each cookie.
- Place in oven for 15 minutes, then let cool.
- On half of the cookies, add vanilla creaming, and on the other half, add La Lichée maple caramel. Close the cookies together to make a ''sandwich''.
