Where can I find La Lichée products?

Our products can be found in more than 300 stores in Quebec. To find out if they are near you, we invite you to visit the tab Points of sale. You will find a list of all the merchants who sell our products.

Conservation

What is the shelf life of our caramels and their storage?

Our caramels can be kept for an average of 13 months from the date of manufacture if the jar is not opened. To guide you, we have indicated a maximum date at which we recommend consuming the product. This date can be found on the back of the jar. If the jar is still sealed, it can be stored at room temperature. However, once the jar of caramel has been opened, we suggest that you consume it within 60 days of opening and store it in the refrigerator.

Ingredients

Do your products contain allergens?

We recommend that you always read the labels of our products before consumption in order to validate the declaration of our allergens. This will always be the case!

All our regular* caramels contain milk and butter as main ingredients. Therefore, our regular* caramels contain the milk allergen. 

Nevertheless, we have not selected, via our suppliers, any other ingredient that contains or may contain other types of priority allergens in our formulations besides this one.

Is your fudge kosher?

Yes, La Lichée has a kosher certification, MK, for all of its regular toffees*. You can see our kosher logo on the front of our label.

Vegan caramel

Does your vegan fudge contain allergens?

Our vegan caramel line contains no priority allergens in Canada. Our rigorous internal protocols and the precious collaboration of our suppliers allow us to certify the absence of allergens. Moreover, our quality control department certifies the absence of these allergens via product sheets and specific tests. Currently, we have only one vegan and allergen-free caramel variant, the vegan coconut caramel.

However, we do not hold any certification approved by an association or accredited body for allergens. 

What is the shelf life of our vegan caramel?

Our vegan caramel has an average shelf life of 13 months from the date of manufacture when unopened. To guide you, we have indicated a maximum date at which we recommend consuming the product. This date can be found on the back of the jar. If the jar is still sealed, it can be stored at room temperature. For our vegan caramel, once the jar has been opened, we suggest that you consume it within 30 days of opening. Itis preferable not to put it in the refrigerator because the product will solidify and make it difficult to spread .

Why a vegan fudge?

La Lichée's value and mission is to make caramel accessible to everyone, including those with dietary restrictions, such as food allergies, intolerances or personal beliefs. Although it is vegan, this caramel is authentic in its texture, its sweet caramel taste and its manufacturing process. Let yourself be tempted!

Do you accept currencies other than Canadian dollars?

No, we only accept Canadian currency.

Return and refund

Can I return a La Lichée product?

It is not possible to return your product once received. Our caramels are final sales. ☺

Qu’est-ce-que je fais si mon produit est endommagé ou manquant?

It may happen that a pot breaks during delivery. If this happens to your order, we'll be happy to help. You can contact us via [email protected] and include a photo in the e-mail to facilitate the exchange. 

Selling our Products

Can I sell your products in my physical store or my online shop?

Yes, you can contact us at [email protected]. We will be happy to respond to your request as soon as possible.

Delivery

I didn't receive my package. What should I do?

If you have not received your parcel, please contact us at [email protected]. and we will find a solution. It is possible that the parcel has not been collected. If this is the case, you will have to pay the new delivery costs.

Which shipping service do you use?

Purolator, Canada Post and Planet Mail.

What are the order preparation times?

Our order preparation times are 2 to 5 working days. However, please note that delivery times may be longer due to the holiday season.

What is your delivery area?

We offer delivery in the province of Quebec, Ontario, New Brunswick and Nova Scotia.

How to use your products?

Our products can be enjoyed in many ways, that's what makes them so beautiful! In fact, our caramels are used as spreads, they are excellent in coffee, and even more so in desserts. We have a Recipe section on our website, where we present you with several recipes to make with our sweet treats! 

Is it possible to order larger jars than the 275g?

For those with a sweet tooth, we also offer 750 ml jars only in caramel fleur de sel!
