As a local company, we want to constantly highlight local foods in our recipes. Hence our desire to add a mountain of Quebec strawberries to our French toast.
Ingredients:
- 4 slices of household bread
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup milk of your choice
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 tbsp. unsalted butter
- Strawberries to your taste
- 2 tbsp. caramel
Preparation:
- In a bowl, combine the eggs, milk and vanilla.
- Dip a slice of bread into the liquid mixture and place it on a plate
- In a frying pan, melt the unsalted butter
- Place the slice of bread in the pan and brown each side for two minutes
- Serve with whipped cream, strawberries and spoonfuls of caramel.
