French toast and caramel

As a local company, we want to constantly highlight local foods in our recipes. Hence our desire to add a mountain of Quebec strawberries to our French toast. 

Ingredients: 

  • 4 slices of household bread 
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup milk of your choice
  • 1 tsp. vanilla 
  • 1 tbsp. unsalted butter 
  • Strawberries to your taste 
  • 2 tbsp. caramel 

Preparation: 

  1. In a bowl, combine the eggs, milk and vanilla. 
  2. Dip a slice of bread into the liquid mixture and place it on a plate 
  3. In a frying pan, melt the unsalted butter 
  4. Place the slice of bread in the pan and brown each side for two minutes 
  5. Serve with whipped cream, strawberries and spoonfuls of caramel.
