Butter caramel S'mores Muffins

For all those who love s'mores and butter caramel, here is the recipe to make! This gourmet dessert is perfect to make with the family, all year long. A real treat.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup graham cracker crumbs
  • 1 ¼ cups of flour
  • ½ tsp. baking soda
  • ½ tsp. salt
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, softened
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • ⅓ cup of sugar
  • 1 egg 
  • 1 tsp. vanilla extract
  • A few large marshmallows cut in half
  • 2 commercial chocolate bars cut into rectangles
  • 1 jar of La Lichée butter caramel

Steps

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. In a bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs, flour, baking soda and salt.
  3. In another bowl, beat butter, brown sugar and sugar.
  4. Add egg and vanilla extract and mix until smooth.
  5. Slowly add the dry ingredient mixture and mix.
  6. Fill a mini muffin tin with a tablespoon of the mixture.
  7. Press the batter into the muffin tin with the spoon so that there is a small hole in each muffin.
  8. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes, then let cool.
  9. Add La Lichée butter caramel to the hole in each muffin.
  10. Then add a marshmallow cut in half and return to the oven for 2 to 3 minutes.
  11. Once the marshmallows are golden brown, remove them from the oven and place a piece of chocolate on each cookie.
  12. Enjoy!
