Gourmet bars - La Lichée X Mille et Une Noix

To delight your taste buds, La Lichée and Mille et Une Noix have combined two of our products to create a gourmet dessert recipe that will remind you of Snickers bars! I promise you won't be able to resist the combination of creamy peanut butter, salted caramel and chocolate.

Ingredients

➤ For the base :

  • 1 ¼ cups ground almonds

  • ¼ cup cocoa powder

  • 3 tbsp. coconut oil, melted and cooled

  • 3 tbsp. maple syrup

  • 1 tsp. vanilla extract

  • ¾ cup dark chocolate chips

  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil

Preparation

  1. Line an 8x8-inch square pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium bowl, mix almond flour, cocoa powder, coconut oil, maple syrup and vanilla extract until thick and crumbly.
  3. Press the mixture evenly into the mould using the back of a spoon or your fingers.
  4. Place in the freezer for at least 15 minutes.
  5. Remove from the freezer and spread a thin layer of caramel, then add the chopped peanuts and cover with peanut butter.
  6. Return to freezer for at least 30 minutes.
  7. Melt the chocolate chips in 30-second intervals in the microwave, stirring between each interval.
  8. Add the melted coconut oil to the melted chocolate and mix well.
  9. Remove from freezer and cover evenly with melted chocolate.
  10. Return to freezer for at least 30 minutes.
  11. Before serving, let cool for 5 minutes, then cut into 16 bars.
